Photospace Gallery and Mary Macpherson video

Meet two legends of New Zealand’s photographic scene. For over 20 years James Gilberd has provided a vital space in Wellington’s Courtenay Place for the exhibition, development and support of Aotearoa’s community of photographers. Photospace is much more than just a gallery but runs a quality varied presentation programme and has a second exhibition space Gilberd Marriott Gallery for artworks in other media. Photographer, poet and editor at Photoforum Mary Macpherson has shown work here many times and for this film re-presents her series The Long View: Auckland Photographs 2014-2017.
