The Cars of Christchurch, New Zealand
New Zealanders love their vehicles and probably nowhere as much as in Christchurch. For a city of only 375,000 there are a huge amount of cool cars, vans and utes on the roads. Be it classic, customised, restored or simply rare this is the place to see something special parked or passing by. For the past year Stephen Trinder has been photographing and posting these cars online at.www.flickr.com/stephentrinder. His images are gaining increasing interest from flickr fine art photographers and car enthusiasts around the world. While there are always more cars to see and record he is working towards an exhibition and book of a selection of the hundreds he has already photographed.
